When Beth, one of my dear friends from college, contacted me recently for photos of her family, I was ecstatic. Add in another couple with a young one of their own, and I was literally glowing. So, when Tim and I met up with Beth, Bobby, Billy, Brett, Michelle + Reagan at Wickham Park this past Saturday, we knew it was going to be a really fun day. Not only did we have the most spectacular New England autumn weather, but everyone was super excited – especially the kids! Billy and Reagan were full of energy and loved running around the park to see absolutely everythingEnjoy some of my favorite photos from the day full of lots of spirit and youth. XO.
First we went to the aviary to visit the birds. It was so much fun to see Billy + Reagan try to touch the birds and attempt feeding them pinecones. So sweet. I loved these moments…
Next we visited the Sensory Gardens for some beautiful flora. We were surrounded with lush flowers and so much love.
I obviously couldn’t get enough of Reagan’s skirt + tights. And we thought it was super cute that Brett’s tattoo of Reagan’s name was visible in this photo.
This fountain was so beautiful. And Billy couldn’t keep his hands out of it!
Of course the second to last spot we tackled had to be the playground. The kids were having a blast.
A girl at the playground decided she wanted to be in on the action, too! How much fun is this?!
Oh gosh. And this! Too. Cute.
We spent the remainder of the afternoon on the hills overlooking the Hartford skyline. So beautiful. On the way up the hill, you could tell everyone was getting a little tired. So sweet. I love this moment.
Here are some scenic shots from the top of the hill to close.
Thank you Beth, Bobby, Billy, Brett, Michelle, and Reagan, for letting us spend the afternoon with you. We had the best time with you guys and hope to see you again very soon!
